Cookie policy

No banner. Here’s why.
A banner is needed when a site wants to store something on your device that it doesn’t strictly need, such as analytics or advertising cookies. We store nothing of the kind. Anything the site keeps on your device is there because you asked for it, and you can see it right below.
In 30 seconds
- No advertising, no social-media pixels, no cookie-based measurement.
- For visitors, our code sets no cookies at all. Cookies exist only for the admins who sign in to WordPress.
- On your device we keep only settings (‘Less motion’, ‘Sound’), any codes you’ve won in the games, and form pre-fills that clear when you close the tab.
- You can clear them all with one button, on this page.
The full text follows. If anything differs, the full text applies.
Live check
What has netex.gr kept on your device?
This check reads your browser’s storage for this site and shows it to you as it is. It sends nothing anywhere.
What has netex.gr kept on your device?netex.gr
Without JavaScript, the site stores nothing on your device, and this check can’t run.
If you’re signed in as an admin, the sign-in cookies don’t show here: the browser hides them from scripts, for security.
Cookies
Cookies for visitors: none.
netex.gr’s code sets no cookies for people who read, play or send a form. Forms are protected with tokens that need no cookie, and the language comes from the address (/ for Greek, /en/ for English), not from a cookie.
For visitors
| Name |
|---|
| None |
Cookies exist only when a Netex admin signs in to WordPress. They’re strictly necessary for signing in and keeping that session secure, and they don’t concern visitors.
For admins who sign in
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
wordpress_test_cookie | WordPress | Checks that the browser accepts cookies, on the sign-in page | Until the browser closes |
wordpress_sec_{hash} · wordpress_logged_in_{hash} | WordPress | Keep the admin securely signed in | Until the browser closes; with ‘Remember Me’, up to 14 days |
wp-settings-{id} · wp-settings-time-{id} | WordPress | Remember admin-screen preferences | 1 year |
wfwaf-authcookie-{hash} | Wordfence | Tells the firewall the request comes from a signed-in admin | For the session |
wfls-remembered-{id} | Wordfence | Remembers that the device passed two-step sign-in, only if the admin asks it to | Up to 30 days |
wf_loginalerted_{hash} | Wordfence | Prevents a duplicate alert for a sign-in from a new device | — |
We embed no third-party videos, maps or widgets. Our office maps are still images.
Storage on your device
What you asked for, and nothing more.
The law treats browser storage (localStorage, sessionStorage) the same way as cookies. We use it only where no consent is needed: for what is strictly necessary to a feature you explicitly asked for, such as a button you pressed. None of it is sent to us.
| Key | Where | When it’s written | What it does | Until |
|---|---|---|---|---|
nx-motion | Local storage (localStorage) | When you press ‘Less motion’ | Remembers you want less motion on every page | Until you switch it off or clear your browser |
nx-sound | Local storage (localStorage) | When you switch ‘Sound’ on | Remembers you switched sound on; it’s off by default | Until you switch it off or clear your browser |
nx-langnote | Local storage (localStorage) | When you dismiss the notice about the other language | Remembers you dismissed it, so it doesn’t come back | Until you clear your browser |
nx-prefill | Tab storage (sessionStorage) | When you answer one of the site’s questions (‘What’s eating your team’s hours?’), pin a problem, finish the meter or pick a sector or scenario | Pre-fills the form so you don’t type the same thing twice | Until you close the tab |
nx-wo | Tab storage (sessionStorage) | When you open a booking form | Keeps the work-order number (NTX-XR-…) you see, so it doesn’t change from page to page | Until you close the tab |
nx-diag | Tab storage (sessionStorage) | When you close the diagonal at the foot of the page | Remembers you closed it, so it stays closed on the next pages | Until you close the tab |
nx-scroll | Tab storage (sessionStorage) | When you switch ‘Less motion’ on a page with a moving scene | Holds your place on the page for a moment, so after the reload you carry on where you were | Deleted straight after the reload |
nx-ai-chip · nx-ind-chip | Tab storage (sessionStorage) | When you close the small Hidden Cost Meter chip | Remembers you closed it, so it doesn’t come back | Until you close the tab |
nx-cap-carry · nx-svc-msg · nx-mk-leak · nx-xray-signs | Tab storage (sessionStorage) | When you use a demo or a meter on the AI, Marketing or X-Ray pages | Carries what you picked or found over to the form, so you don’t type it again | Until you close the tab |
nx-ind-pins · nx-ind-pains | Tab storage (sessionStorage) | When you pin a problem on the shift board | Remembers what you pinned, to pre-fill it in the form | Until you close the tab |
nx-cap-photos | Tab storage (sessionStorage) | When you send defect photos on the vision quality-control page | Remembers you sent them, so the page doesn’t ask again | Until you close the tab |
nx-mk-sector · nx-sr-filter-… | Tab storage (sessionStorage) | When you pick a sector or a filter in the Strategy Lab or Side Roads | Remembers your choice, so it’s the same when you come back | Until you close the tab |
Pages without JavaScript store nothing. ‘Less motion’ applies automatically if your device is already set to reduce motion; then nothing needs storing at all.
Not here
Left out, on purpose.
We don’t use:
- Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager or any cookie-based measurement
- Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, TikTok Pixel or any other advertising pixel
- Retargeting and ad networks
- Google Fonts served from Google: our fonts are hosted here
- reCAPTCHA or any other CAPTCHA
- Embedded maps, YouTube videos or ‘Like’ buttons
- Third-party chat widgets that load with the page
- Fingerprinting or any other way of recognising your device
Measurement
Do we count visitors?
We currently use no visitor-measurement tool. Game statistics, wherever they say ‘calculated from real plays only’, are totals our server counts when a game asks it for a check, without identifying you.
Third parties
Nothing from third parties unless you ask.
Links to LinkedIn, Instagram, Viber and other sites are plain links. Once you follow one, that site’s policy applies.
Control
Three ways to clear it.
- The ‘Clear everything’ button, higher up this page.
- The toggles themselves: switching ‘Less motion’ or ‘Sound’ off also deletes its entry.
- Your browser’s settings, using ‘Delete site data’ for netex.gr. Instructions for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge.
If you block all storage, the site still works. It just forgets your settings from one page to the next.
The law
Storing information on your device is governed by Article 4(5) of Greek Law 3471/2006, which transposes the ePrivacy Directive. Without consent, only what is strictly necessary for a service you’ve explicitly requested is allowed. European data protection authorities recognise interface settings you switch on yourself, such as ‘Less motion’, as one of those cases (Article 29 Working Party, Opinion 04/2012).
Anything involving personal data is explained in the Privacy policy.
Changes
If we add anything that’s stored on your device, we list it here and in the live check first, and switch it on afterwards. If it needs consent, we’ll ask you beforehand, with ‘Essential only’ exactly as prominent as ‘Accept’.
