“‘Which size should I get?’ 23:40. Nobody answers.”

AI for e-shops and retail

€1,900 · preset: e-shop

In retail, Greek firms use AI at half the European rate. The 23:40 customer doesn’t know that. They only see who answered.

Before purchase, the questions are usually three: size, stock, when it arrives. After purchase, one: where is it. All four can be answered from data you already have, in your size chart, your stock and your courier’s API.

We build e-shops, but that’s not where we start. We start with what your team does at 09:00 every morning.

The invisible

Four sentences from every e-shop.

Revenue shows up on the dashboard every morning. The hours that kept it standing show up nowhere.

What we'd build

  1. A digital assistant on phone, Viber, WhatsApp and web, with a way out to a person
  2. Reminders and confirmations on Viber
  3. A monthly report: what your customers ask

Funding. In the X-Ray we check which programme fits, if any does, against the current call text.

The formula

Hidden hours/month = contacts × 21 × minutes × same-question % ÷ 60. Unanswered calls stay out of the cost: they show separately, because they are revenue at risk, not hours.

Cost/year = hidden hours/month × 12 × hourly cost (+ external cost, where there is one). Automatable = labour cost × department coefficient (0.50–0.80) + external cost × a second coefficient. People = hidden hours/month × coefficient ÷ 150 hours. Payback = pilot cost ÷ (automatable ÷ 12).

The coefficients are our own conservative estimate, shown here so you can challenge them. 150 hours is one person's productive time in a month (≈1,800 a year).

A public rule for summer lines: discount = today’s maximum temperature in your city minus 30 °C, capped. Larissa at 39° means −9% today. It isn’t another sale. It’s the weather.

Without the demo: every hour, the e-shop reads each city’s maximum temperature. Above 30 °C, the discount on summer lines is the difference, up to a cap. The banner, the catalogue ads and one Viber message update by themselves.

Why it works

Play → Decode → Deploy
Mechanism
A condition-triggered rule, with live data and one notification when a city crosses the threshold.
Psychology
The discount feels fair and external, not “another sale”. Guinness, with temperature-triggered ads, saw +14.7% pub visits (award entry). And in Greece, a heatwave is already news. source (opens in a new tab)
Platform signal
Catalogue-ad CTR, stories with the temperature table, one Viber message per trigger.
Honest range

Rules & limits

Questions

What does AI do in an e-shop?

It answers on sizes, stock, delivery and returns in DMs, on Viber and in chat, brings courier tracking into the conversation, drafts descriptions and translations for new SKUs for approval, and reconciles cash on delivery against courier statements. It always says it’s AI.

Will it get a returns policy wrong?

It answers only from your own texts and data, not from what it “knows”. If it can’t find the answer, it says so and hands the conversation to a person. Every answer is logged, so you can see what it said and why.

Does it work with WooCommerce, Shopify and Greek couriers?

Yes. We connect to WooCommerce and Shopify, to ACS, ELTA, Geniki Taxydromiki and BOX NOW, to Skroutz, your ERP, myDATA and your e-invoicing provider. If something has no API, we say so in the X-Ray.

Is a discount that moves with the temperature legal?

It can be, if it’s set up properly. Directive 2019/2161 ties every announced discount to the lowest price of the previous 30 days, so after a heatwave the reference price drops too. Hence a cap, a clear public rule, a commercial licence for the weather data, and legal review before launch.

Do you build the e-shop itself?

Yes, on a custom WooCommerce theme with no page builder, connected to the ERP, myDATA and couriers, fast and accessible. We don’t publish build prices, because they depend on the integrations. We start from what costs you time today.
