AI visibility and SEO

Ask ChatGPT about your sector. Does it mention you? Visibility in AI answers (GEO) and SEO.

Ask ChatGPT and you don't get ten links. You get one answer with two or three names in it. We work to get yours among them, and we measure it every month.

Why now

Search changed. The clicks thinned out.

  • When an AI summary appears, users click a result on 8% of visits instead of 15% (US, 2025).

    source: Pew Research

  • AI Overviews cut the top result's click-through rate by 58% (Dec 2025 vs Dec 2023).

  • Google AI Mode has worked in Greek since 8 October 2025.

    source: To Vima

  • For one Seer client, visitors from ChatGPT converted at 15.9%, against 1.76% from organic search. They were only 0.07% of organic traffic, though. We say that too.

GEO doesn't replace SEO. It builds on it. AI engines read the same pages Google reads, and they quote the ones that say something specific.

What we do

Six jobs, measured every month.

  • Entity clarity

The same name, address, phone and description on your site, Google profile, LinkedIn and directories, so engines don't confuse you with someone else.

    consistency across all sources

  • Structured data

Products, services, prices and hours in schema.org, identical to what the page says. Never anything the visitor can't see.

    pages with valid schema

  • Answer-first pages

One question per section, answered in 40–60 words, with your own numbers and sources.

    queries with an answer page

  • Citations and digital PR

Mentions in sources the engines read: trade media, associations, directories. No bought links.

    new mentions per month

  • Share of answer

Every month we ask the same 30 questions, in Greek and English, in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Mode. We count how often you're mentioned, and how.

    mentions across 30 queries

  • Technical SEO

Speed, indexing, structure, and one check we run first: whether a security setting is silently blocking the AI engines' crawlers.

    Core Web Vitals, pages indexed

How we measure

If it doesn't show up in answers, it didn't happen.

Google says there's no special ‘AI optimisation’: pages need to be indexed, with the important content in text. We agree. So we work with clear text, structured data and sources worth quoting. source: Google Search Central

We measure three things: share of answer across 30 fixed queries, citations pointing to your pages, and visits from chatgpt.com, perplexity.ai, gemini.google.com and copilot.microsoft.com. Alongside classic traffic, not instead of it.

GEO is now a baseline requirement, not a magic trick. We measure it in mentions and share of answer, alongside traffic.

Do you let the AI engines read you?

A security rule or a rate limit can quietly remove a site from AI answers. We check what robots.txt allows and what the firewall blocks, and we decide it with you, deliberately.

The choice has a cost too: allowing training crawlers also allows your content to be used to train models. We tell you before you decide.

Questions

What is GEO?

GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation) is the work that makes a business show up correctly in the answers of AI engines such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Mode. In practice it means consistent details, pages that answer specific questions, structured data, and mentions in sources the engines trust.

Is it different from SEO?

GEO builds on SEO rather than replacing it. AI engines read indexed pages, so without sound technical SEO there's no GEO. The difference is in what we measure: as well as rankings and clicks, we count how often the engines mention you across 30 fixed queries every month.

How much does it cost?

The AI Visibility X-Ray starts from €490 and shows how four AI engines describe you against three competitors, across 30 queries. Ongoing work is priced monthly after the X-Ray, based on the number of pages and markets. The X-Ray fee is credited if we continue.

How long until it shows?

Technical fixes show within weeks; mentions take months. For a well-documented B2B manufacturer, our estimate is being cited in 30–50% of target queries within 6–9 months (typical range). We measure it monthly, so you watch the progress instead of waiting for it.

Can you guarantee ChatGPT will recommend me?

No, and anyone who guarantees it isn't being straight with you. No company controls what an AI engine answers. What we control is whether clear, consistent, quotable information about you exists, and we measure it openly across fixed queries so you always know where you stand.

Does it work in Greek?

Yes. Google AI Mode has worked in Greek since 8 October 2025, and AI engines need Greek sources to answer Greek questions. In many sectors those sources are still thin on the ground, so the space is open. We work in Greek and English, for those who also sell abroad.

Do I need an llms.txt file?

It isn't essential. llms.txt is an optional file that points AI engines to your key pages. It costs very little, but its benefit hasn't been proven. If we add one, we log it as an experiment and measure it, not as a promise.

Ask the AI about yourself before your customer does.

An AI Visibility X-Ray shows you exactly what four AI engines say about you, what they say about your competitors, and what we fix first.
